yesterday was the greatest show i have ever been to.... it was juz Wonderful... Fantastic... i can't find the right word to describe abt the show... the show was to start at 6.30pm... but damn it... it started ard 7pm or ltr i think... not really sure.. They eventually dragged it by announcing the Vasantham Star Finalists... i mean.. c'mon.. the whole Indoor Stadium is filled with a minority of North Indians... and they are doing this... suddenly the Stadium was booing all the finalists... haha... well.. they were kinda of chased away by us.. but who cares!!!... hehehe...
Wohoo.... then there was A.R.RAHMAN!!!!!.... OMG!!... he was juz stunning... the first song was sang by him of cuz... it was frm Yuva.... ohh!!... u can juz keep on listening to him singing the whole day... he sings the song wif such emotion and ease.. jeez!!... haha.. den he made a small speech.. abt how special is SINGAPORE to him..
There were other singers too.. Hariharan... Udit Narayanan... KARTHIK!!!... two new singers.. din manage to catch their name... Blaaze... and not forgetting KHAILASH KHER!.. goodness.. he was such an entertainer.. even though he spoke in Hindi.. i was able to understand what he was saying... coz i know abit of hindi... hahaha.... there were also female singers... Sadhana Sargam... CHITRA!! and Madhusree...
His musicians were wonderful... Xspecially the drummer Sivamani... My fav performance was the "Humma Humma" song from Bombay... A.R.Rahman sang the Tamil version... together wif Blaaze... i loved the mood of the song... it was soo happening... all of us were up on our feet and clapping hands... A.R.Rahman... was out of the stage.. walking down the seating areas... throwing balls at pple??... hahaha...
In short.. the whole show was happening... they were songs from Yuva/Aaiyutha Ezhuthu.. Bombay... Roja... Sapnay/Minasara Kanavu... Indian.. Dil Se/Uyire... Mangal Pandey... Lagaan.. Taal/Thaalam.. Kadhal Desam (Mustafa Mustafa).. Thiruda Thiruda/Chor Chor... Saathiya/Alai Payuthey... Swades/Desam... Boys.. Baba.. Indira.. Kandukonden Kandukonden.. Ratchagan.. Rhythm... Udhaya... and Ah Aah!!....
And of coz... A.R.Rahman... ended the show singing Vande Mataram!!... :) :) :)
